Hi, my name is Frik van Coppenhagen

Every bone in me is artistic – I am a singer, song writer, musician, music producer, digital artist and a photographer.

I have been a lover of photography from a very young age but did not have the equipment in the least, to pursue the passion. With technology advancing the way it does, I considered being that photographer that does it with his mobile phone, since I was always taking photos with my mobile. But in January, 2020, an opportunity arose and I obtained my first DSLR camera. And so my journey took direction. As I now start to grow exponentially in this field (in which we never stop learning), I am also bringing my older photos into the spotlight as well.

I have a good eye and I spot the opportunity for greatness whenever it presents itself. To a photographer, the planning of a shot is an important factor and while this is true for the most part – I have extensive skill and technique in digital editing, which has me visualizing the final product when and as I take the shot. I like to believe this gives me an edge in photography.

Speaking of digital editing – I am an artist, not just in music, but also in physical and digital art. Since I can remember, I have been into digital image editing. As software and technology advanced, so have I. There is a love of realistic fantasy art and the like, inside me.

You don’t need the most expensive equipment to tell amazing visual stories. Learn to use what you have at your disposal. The greatest photographs and images come from the most creative minds. — Frik van Coppenhagen
